I have no idea how to do this, but I'd like to propose a new sub-collection, and some sub-sub-collections, and the admin rights to be able to move items into these.

Basically, I think it would be Super Cool if archive.org hosted "samples" for music production. Sub collections would be categorized by sample type:
* soundfont
* sfz
* wav / aiff
* Kontact NKI
* etc etc

Good fits for this would be e.g. the KIArchive of tracker .XM instruments, the ST-** sampledisks from Amiga stuff, a mirror of hammersound.net, and so forth.

once you have 50 item pages created you can request a collection at info@archive.org
